Job Description

CEC Entertainment is seeking an Executive Administrator to support our SVP, Chief Human Resources Officer and Human Resources team at our Irving, Texas Corporate Support Center.  

Essential Functions of the Position
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities with a friendly sense of urgency in support of our corporate objectives, including: "If you are not serving the Guest, serve someone who is."
  • Field and direct incoming telephone calls, correspondence and department visitors. Provide daily phone coverage for CHRO.
  • Prepare written correspondence, reports, letters, and memos, utilizing graphics, spreadsheets, word processing software and email.
  • Compile HR data and metrics from various systems and sources; prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc executive reports and Board presentations using PowerPoint and Excel. Maintain strict confidentiality, as required.
  • Establish and maintain executive and departmental filing systems in compliance with records management policies. Identify opportunities to automate documents.
  • Coordinate and administer HR programs, including service award program, employee emergency relief fund, on-boarding initiatives and various recognition programs.
  • Provide guidance regarding internal HR policies and procedures; Resolve employee issues or direct appropriately to other resources.
  • Coordinate and schedule travel arrangements for CHRO and other HR department leaders; prepare and complete expense reports. Assist in scheduling travel for candidate interviews, as needed.
  • Support the scheduling and organization of meetings, conferences and department activities.
  • Maintain calendar for CHRO.
  • Order office supplies for Human Resources department; manage controllable expenses within budget.
  • Code and coordinate payment of departmental invoices.
  • Ensure department’s shared office equipment is well-maintained and in working order; order service repairs, as required.
  • Comply with all company and department policies, and employment law regulations.
  • Perform other duties and lend assistance to co-workers as directed by immediate supervisor or other members of corporate Support Center management team.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree in HR-related field, a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of senior executive level administrative support in a fast-paced corporate or military office environment.
  • Working knowledge of HR/employment law compliance and records management.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential/sensitive personnel data and business matters.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact in a friendly, professionally manner with all levels of the organization and outside parties (candidates, vendors, etc.).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including correspondence and telephone etiquette.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail; accuracy in work product.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently, and develop effective work systems and processes.
  • Proficiency in using Computer Software: MS Word (Advanced), Excel (Intermediate+), PowerPoint (Advanced), Outlook (Advanced); working knowledge of HR information systems/talent management systems (Workday, a plus).  
  • Highly dependable; strong follow-through and initiative.
  • Relentless focus on customer satisfaction.

Physical Demands:
To perform the duties of this position, the incumbent must have the ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach, and carry, lift, pull, push between 1 – 25 lbs. Incumbent must use a computer, with repetitive movement of both hands. Incumbent must be able to work an 8 hour shift, with occasional overtime.
